Amsterdam through my lens!

Pants:Topshop, Shoes: Nike, Sunglasses: Celine, Coat: H&M

Good morning lovers!

So for the last weeks we have been secretly working on our new website, which is almost ready to be out next week! Do you know that feeling when you too excited to share and don’t know where to start? Yep… sort of feeling that way!

With all the madness going, here we are showing you another day in the dam. I feel the city is divided between the locals and the tourist. In fact there are some parts of the city where you almost never find a local hanging out unless they are visiting for some sort of work or happen to be working in that area. So in the coming weeks we will take you down these streets and share our story about how we feel about them. The notorious alleys of Amsterdam! During the day they look so quiet and hidden. And somehow they are very popular by night. Go check out the thinnest alleys on the red-light street and you know what we are talking about!

Go sit on a cactus!

Scarf: Chanel, Sunglasses: Fendi, T-shirt: Pick & weight, Shoes: Nike  Lace shorts: Zara

Who else is a fan of cactus? We think they are weird and cool at the same time. So when we found out about this amazing location we had to plan ourself a play date in this cacti land. Luckily it turned out to be a really warm day which made us feel like we were stuck in middle of cacti desert. Haha… maybe exaggerating a bit… But hope you get my drift.  Beautiful clashing colours and surrounded by cactus we had such a great time shooting these images. I hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Clashing prints. Clashing color.

Blouse: Zara, Skirt: Vintage, Bag: Furla, Shoes: Nike Cortez

Color clashing is a new trend that’s here to stay. We are absolute fan about this trend! After trying few combinations, our favourite is… Bright red with pink. Summer and bright colours go hand in hand. So don’t be afraid to try on this combination.

As you may know by now. We are absolute suckers for prints. So we decided to clash our favourite strips and floral together! Sometimes go with the feeling of what feels right for you.

I found the best floral dress!

Dress: Berlin Vintage store, Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs, Shoes: Nike, Watch: Fossil

This summer there is no room for escaping florals and bright colours. Honestly, I am happy to see people embrace this new trend. But on the other hand it’s no fun seeing room full of Zara floral suits, kimonos and dresses. So instead I went with something Vintage. When I went into his vintage store I knew exactly what I was looking for. Maxi, big prints and good fit. Sometimes it is really hard to find good vintage fitted clothes however I was very lucky with this dress! It was just meant to be!

New Red Flare pants alert!

Pants: Topshop, Blouse: Boutique, Earrings: Personal collection

Wide pants, long sleeves and a bit of under boobs we have created new sexy. Trousers are sure our thing. I have worn them in so many different ways. Well, day look is all about down dressing with an easy factor. However, going out version of these pants can be very different. You can either go all out and heels, crop top and accessories. Or you can add heels, printed tee! It really depends on the occasion and what it calls for. So now it’s your call… Love it. OR Hate it.

I am back with another series of “I take my own pictures”. It was born in summer of 2016 when I was extremely bored. I feel in this age of fast life/ fast everything nobody has the time to get bored anymore. Sometimes you have to find the time to get to this point and something will surface. It was a while ago that I got into this thing of self photography. Mostly because I had just started blogging and didn’t have anyone to take my pictures. I am no expert, but I go with the feeling of how and what I feel. So of course I am nervous to go public with them.

Let me know what you think!

We are dreaming about spring. Last few weeks we have been busy collecting our spring/summer favourites. With new season comes the new clothes… However sometimes it doesn’t have to be. Well especially around the spring. It’s a transition weather and it’s super confusing. The weather gods play all the weird combinations as possible like rain all day, rain no rain, sunshine rain. So the best way  to deal with this transition weather is to layer! Add when you want, remove when you need.

I have always liked crop tops for layering purpose. So if you want to win the newest of this seasons trend then start wearing your crop tops and bralette over dresses and shirts. Probably like us, some of you might have been hoarding on to this teeny tiny creatures for the hope of summer… it’s time to get them layering.

All black everything!

Blouse: Zara, Shoes Tospshop, Jeans Topshop

First of all, those of you who know me will be a bit surprised to see me in all black. I am not really a “All black everything” kind of person. So for some this comes easily. Like I hear almost everyday here in Holland… I love wearing black, black is my colour. What’s surprising is when I see young teenagers say “I only wear all black”. Seriously, what happened to those days when you could commit any fashion blunders and blame it on “Oh I was young”. Isn’t this the time to experiment, be bold and refine your style.

My personal style has been through a lot of different phases. Now that I think of it, I try to replicate my emotions into my style. So I had my days of feeling rebellious and fierce too.

So coming back to all black everything. It’s not that I don’t like the colour black it’s just that I love other colours a lot too. I don’t see black as safe colour, I see it more classic and special! So today I am showing you guys a little version of  black outfit for a day/night out. I would still keep things interesting… like layering on black & black, different tones and texture.

Little black dress!

Good morning lovers!

Are we still on the same page? How often have you hear girls say this “I don’t want to look like a girl”. Well, for some reason I hear it a lot around me which makes me forget I am a girl. Haha.. just kidding. Yes, I still love my pinstripe men’s shirt and jeans. However, I still like getting dressed like a girl for special occasion and still feel like me. I hear this so often around me that girls don’t want to look like a girl but what does that even mean? Here is the fact. No matter how tomboyish your style is you would still look like a girl!

Hey don’t get me wrong, I am still Man Repeller and shit. But I miss getting dressed up and feeling like the only girl in the world!
