Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.

Vulnerability is the scary thing. It’s to be able to share yourself and make yourself vulnerable and to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength. It was a year ago that I went on this journey of blogging. Honestly, it took about 6 months before I showed my blog to public. I talked about it a lot to people but it took a lot of courage to be able to finally say “Here I am”. My intention when I started this blog was to be real and build connect with you all.

It’s a year and I am not leaving. So let me know if you think their is anything I can add or do more to keep you going on this journey with me.

Trend alert “new sexy is here”

ColdshoulderChanel RTW SS15,  Celine Spring2015,  Givenchy SS15

There is a new trend in town and we are in love. Cold shoulders are here stay! From Celine, Chanel To Givenchy we saw this trend taking over the runway. Legs, cleavage and abs have always been shown by media as the sexy part of women’s body. However, this spring/summer collection was so refreshing to see designers take new direction.

Though this trend is not meant for everyone, I still think you can embrace this in so many different ways. Honestly, I feel most women are conscious about their arms and it’s always been looked as a “men thing to have strong arms and shoulders”. However, things have changed over the years. Women of this age want to be healthy, fit, independent and successful. And they like the idea of breaking the stereotype 😉

Can’t wait to see how you’ll rocking this trend.

Some things never go out of fashion!

Flare jeans: Topshop, White shirt: Zara, Shoes: Topshop, Denim jacket: Zalando, Leapoard coat: Topshop

Some things never go out of style… like leopard print & double denim.

I will always pull out my double denim when I am short of time & not sure what to wear. Double denim have always been fashions favourite baby. They would always surface around fashion week, magazine covers and street style.

Feeling like Kate Moss & Donna Pinciotti from 70s show,  I am wearing my double denim with leopard coat.

Welcome to my world!

White dress by H&M AW15 Studio, White sneakers by Nike Roshe, Black shorts by DIY (me),

Good Morning lovers! Guess what… the dream team is back! After powering suiting for the first time we couldn’t wait to work together. This time around we bringing something different and real. So welcome to our world.

My name is Sita Sunar and I am a stylist. My life is anything but boring. People seek my help to re-vamp their wardrobe, find the perfect dress for an occasion or simply like to try something different. Everyday is an adventure working as personal stylist. I love working with clothes and I do not dread Monday.  Blogging is my escape and an hobby. Here I get to say and do what I like. Since, my blog is about fashion and fitness. I have to be committed to it. Well, there are days when I fall for temptations. Well, It’s the discipline that teaches me to get back at it.  My typical day will start around 6.30-7am. If I do not have to work on my blog, I go for a quick 20mins run, shower and get dressed for work. Monday mornings is when I have to finish my blog post (like today), post it, 10 minutes yoga, shower and get ready for work. As I mentioned my job is anything but boring. I meet at least 10 to 15 new people everyday. I personally love working with real women who need my help. I finish work around 7ish and run straight home. Coming home to my beautiful cats is the best thing ever. I take about half hour break, have a quick snack and go to the gym. Well, things are bit different if I have planned some after work activities. Since, I have to work the most weekends. I plan my nights out according to my mood. I like to spend my days off working on my blog. It could be from shooting an outfit, working on a fitness video to finding a new inspiration.

If you are an aspiring fashion Stylist, this what you need to know:

1)It’s all about the internship: Intern for a stylist, become their assistant. This industry works by recommendations.

2) Build you work: In the beginning it is hard to make easy money. Your priority should be about getting your self out there.

3) Research and keep your self updated: Researching different looks, making appointments, gathering all the pieces for a look. It’s a lot of screen time!” Knowing the industry and what’s new is important.

4) Be confident and know yourself: Last but not least. Know your style and strength and don’t be scared to show it off.

Hope this helps you to get started.

Have a lovely week and see you soon.

Cleansing is a well known trend in the wellness industry. During this short period you avoid all processed foods and eat whole plant and less cooked foods. Well, I have tried this cleanse almost a year ago. And it really works. This is the best way to get rid of toxins from your  body and jumpstart fresh. If you feel exhausted and tired all the time, easily catch a common cold. Than it’s the best time to start this cleanse. In few weeks it will boost your immune system and give a fresh start.

Well on that note, I would like to share my favourite 5 minute vegan cream of tomato soup recipe.  This delicious and fast recipe is all need to know during a busy week as well as on a lazy sunday evenings.

. ½ teaspoon white pepper

. ¼ teaspoon black pepper

. ¼ teaspoon black pepper

. 1 clove garlic

. 4 cups hot water

. Handful of cashew nuts or almonds

. Blend the Macadamia nuts in the high blender until smooth creamy texture.

. Now blend the rest of the ingredient with the macadamia paste in the high blender.

Hi Guys! How are you feeling today? You have no clue how happy I am to start the new week. Do you remember how excited I was about the last week. Well, it didn’t last that long. How is one suppose to survive this world of technology and fast pace lifestyle without your best friend beside you?  Your PHONE. Last weekend  I accidentally dropped my brand new Iphone 6 into toilet and soon my entire world came crushing down in seconds. Somebody I know said, “Did you flush down the toilet?” Some random thoughts are now  seem encourage that action.

This is how I survived the day after the tragedy. I cancelled all my plans for the weekend. Went straight home after work. Sat in front of the television with a bottle of wine and drunk all my sorrows. Call me a women. Today I feel absolutely fresh and ready to conquer the world.

I am starting this week with fresh mind and new thoughts.

“Don’t let your happiness depend on something you may lose”

C.S. Lewis

Don’t get me wrong, I did have some good times. Like spending my day off drinking Rose in the afternoon with gorgeous people. I am so happy to collect friends that share the same passion and interest. John, he is no stranger to the blogging commuinty. I absolutely love his style served with I don’t care attitude.

Today’s post is all about rocking a suit. This borrowed from the boy piece is very dynamic and can be worn to many different occasion. For many years we have seen some of the most powerful celebrities rock this number on the red carpet.

Here are some of the tips to rock this look…

  1. If you going for Kendall Jenner look, than pick a suit based on how it fits on the shoulders. Aim for keeping the overall fit as slim as possible.
  2. Kate Moss’s casual suit look always steals the show. Wear your classic all black suit with a T- shirt          half tucked in at the waist. Don’t forget the sneakers!
  3. If you are a oversized boxy blazer kinda girl (like me) than pick your trousers skinny and cropped. It creates the perfect balance without looking too slouchy.
  4. If you going for masculine meets feminine look than do everything like boys do but keep your makeup super girly.
  5. A best accessory a girl can own is CONFIDENCE. So, It’s time to invest into one of this power suit!

Guys, I Hope this inspires you try something new. Let me know if you need to know more specifics for your body type. I will be happy to help. Last but not least… don’t forget to share your new look with me.

Have a nice week and happy suiting!

Good morning lovers! It’s only Wednesday and I am already back with a new post! Hope you guys had a great start into  a new week. Mine was going just fine until the flowers in my stylist room decided to attack me and bring me down with a crazy allergy. Waking up every morning with a series of sneezes is not funny any more. I really started to think I might have a brain damage.  Thank god for a day off! I am taking a break from my pretty flowers. They are so beautiful that I don’t have the heart to throw them away.  However, I do secretly wish for them to die soon! Well, wish me luck.

Hello September! Fashions most favourite month. I believe I am going to have a best September too. Well, 1st of September started with a bang for me. And this time I am not talking about my allergy! I can not say more, but I promise to share with you at the right time.

What do you guys think about my Ear-cuff? Aren’t they lovely? I am in love with them. I did my casual tuesday with a little bling bling. As I walked from Amsterdam central station to work… everyone couldn’t stop to stare at my ear. Well, who cares. I love them! I needed that little bling for the special day. After having a good day at work. It was nice to take some pictures of my outfit with my dear friend Matilda. We only took 15mins for the picture and we were off for a lovely meal.

Wish you guys a good September!

I will be back soon!

Hi everyone! Hope you had a good weekend. Well, It’s Monday again. And I am ready for another week of new beginning and fresh start! I want you to start your week with a good note. So, here is the editorial we worked on last weekend. I am sure this will bring some sunshine in this rainy monday morning.

We had so much fun working on this photo shoot. The sun was shinning and felt like endless summer in Amsterdam. Well, this look is inspired by Bad girlfriends. So it feels young with a bad behaviour rebelliousness. Since this seasons fall & winter trends are full of surprises. I decided to give my own twist to a traditional rock & roll girl. Still… Leather and more leather is always a YES!

Hope you guys enjoy the pictures.
