Dress: Berlin Vintage store, Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs, Shoes: Nike, Watch: Fossil
This summer there is no room for escaping florals and bright colours. Honestly, I am happy to see people embrace this new trend. But on the other hand it’s no fun seeing room full of Zara floral suits, kimonos and dresses. So instead I went with something Vintage. When I went into his vintage store I knew exactly what I was looking for. Maxi, big prints and good fit. Sometimes it is really hard to find good vintage fitted clothes however I was very lucky with this dress! It was just meant to be!
“Everyday is our chance to find that vintage dress”
I found this dress hanging in my friends closet. It looked everything I imagined that vintage dress to be like. First of all it came in polk dots and wide pants. So 80’s!
I like vintage but I am not obsessed with it. Here in Amsterdam I see loads of people wear vintage on daily basis. To be honest, it looses it’s charm when almost everyone wears vintage and styled in a similar way.
I gave this jumpsuit bit of rocker Saint Laurent essence. This outfit is edgy, unapologetically bad girl as they call it for Saint Laurent girl with essence of night romanticism. I will wear this look for night out and switch to sneakers in case I decide to sip on some rose during the day.
Rise and shine everyone.
Hope all my dutch friends are finally enjoying summer in holland. Well I am ready with my second post. Yeah! This editorial piece is very dear to me since it was shot in my town… back in India. This is little bit of my childhood and where I am really from. I feel so blessed growing up in this tropical island.
This look is a romance of a free spirited traveller and nature lover. Inspired from Goan hippie culture! The Land of beautiful people, beaches, sand, culture and cows. Hope you enjoy this pictures and get the feel of this beautiful land. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts and comments.
Special thanks to Melba Fernandes for capturing this moments. Your love for Goa is truly magical and shows in your work.
